4th Annual PC Jordan Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament for Epilepsy and The PC Jordan Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund

The PC Jordan, Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament was established in memory of 2004 Burges graduate Philip C. Jordan, Jr. PC was recognized by the MacArthur Middle School faculty as the All MacArthur Boy and the Burges High School faculty as a Top 10 senior. He was selected to the Texas Baseball Academic All-State team his senior year. In addition, he participated in several school organizations and community service projects. Although PC suffered from epilepsy that eventually took his life, he never allowed it to prevent him from participating in activities that were important to him.

The money raised for this event will stay in the El Paso service of the Epilepsy Foundation West Texas to assist individuals with epilepsy and their families. The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation West Texas is to ensure people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences; and will prevent, control and cure epilepsy through services, education, advocacy and research.
